Kenny, check it out tho. That's what that Gateway would do. Turn on, then reboot itself. In the beginning it would turn on OK, then after time it wouldn't one time and would the next. It was a loose connection at the front case switch. I'm not saying that's your problem but it won't hurt to check it out. If that's not it, then move on and check something else. When your troubleshooting one of these you look under every rock, not just one or two. It could also be a bad stick of ram making the machine reboot, I've had them do that too. You wouldn't get the memory error, but it would boot windows and then reboot, recount and go back into windows and then reboot again. Over and over and over.
