at least they are getting project oriented but I think its a lot simpler than they make it seem
they also need to think really hard IMHO about increasing the clipboard capacity and flexibility.
the auto-resizing with multiple active windows and the ordered stack are potentially useful for cut and paste type activity.
3d is not necessary but having multiple alternative project related desktops is a good idea though I still think they should be = file boxes !
I dont think anyone is going to thank them for reinventing the wheel and then forcing their customers to like it, I reckon all these innovations can be brought to fruition in the current interface.
The trouble with 3d and a simulated 180 degree field of vision is that you lose sight of half the desktop and have to ponce about navigating an avatar. While that will be easy peasy for confirmed RPGers and FPSers the rest of the people might not find it so sensible.
