Gateways and emachines are the only two brands I tell people I won't work on. If they udder these names........I tell them to keep looking.
Mainboards are cheap. Poor design. Wacky bios. Bad documentation. Built in everything! Poor support. Go to a show, buy what you need and build one for the money you'll have in an emachine.
