I give up all together. "Run As" works, but what the hell do I have to do, set each and every application AND their .ini files seperately?

I dial up as User. Norton's Internet Security won't let me have access. No complaints, just no access. So I go to Admin, "Run As" to it's .exe
No help. "Run As" to all it's .exes. That gives me access (this post proves it! ) Hey - something WORKED!!!

Launch WinMX - NIS won't let it have access until I say O.K. Over and Over again. I guess "User" can't access it's config files, so it can't change them!

Who the hell designed this mess? This is the only thing so far about XP I absolutely HATE.

Why can't I just say "User can do this much" and go from there.

"Permissions" you say? Where I say. Can't find any such options anywhere.

Admin Tools tells me there is such a thing as a "Power User" - kind of a junior Administrator. But it won't tell me how to make one. Help is NO help.

SCCCCCCCRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!!!!

(rip rip rip.......hair gently wafting to the ground.)
