No XP Pro Corporate does ok with 2 users in there and with 98SE on the first partition. Sort of
The modem even works on both or at least it does on Sonny's (Hey I have multiple users on there).
Hardest part was convincing XP to let everyone use the modem connection but I won it lost But I still have USB issues with that machine.....and it won't shut down right and yes I've used the er fix.......and it set it up as a standard PC instead of using ACPI.
Now just to make you feel better, Andy has two machines running XP Pro Corporate. One works perfectly (his) and the other (Donna's) is a royal PITA. It will not install XP Plus, it is now kicking them out of a CD Burn just about when the burn is finished. Nero, Clone CD, Xp's proggie no difference. Same on all. I'll have to get him to tell me everything it won't let them install, think he said a couple other programs he can put on his and hers won't install them. Makes no sense at all. Clean installs on both machines from the same Xp Corp CD and XP Plus CD and I think it was Works 2002 or 2001 that he can install and she can't. Go figure.
But then I can install the 875DC XP Drivers on my machine and they work perfectly no printer problems at all and on Sonny's...his locks up and the Epson monitor won't work right. You tell me.
