I've downloaded files at more than 1MB/s (8Mb/s) at school (McGill University). Someone told me that the university is some sort of supernode for the whole province. I don't know about that, but it's pretty fast! I don't really know how fast it is 'cause at that speed, it maxes out the 10Mbit LAN! LOL!

Just so that you are not too jealous, at home I still have 56K... Ugh! Thank god for cd burners.
