The first thing you must do is figure out what kind of computers your friends have & whoever who can help you learn about your new computer. The
Intel Pentiums & AMD CPU's are PC computers & are very popular. Then there are Apples computers that use the Motorola CPU, these computers are not as popular as the PC's but they might be with your friends & helpers.
With the PC's Intel has a higher clock rate but take longer to do most tasks then the new AMD's CPU's. The bottom line is the AMD CPU's will = or better the Pentium & save you money to boot.
