Sorry about the confusion... What I'm trying to say is this: when you buy a cd, the tracks play in a specific order. Like track 2 plays after track 1 kind of thing. The problem is that when I rip a cd and put it onto the drive, the songs are alphabetically ordered instead of being ordered depending on their posisiton on the cd. When I play an album with the mp3 player, the songs will play in alphabetical order. What I want is to be able to play an album with the songs in the order that they were meant to be. I could always rename all my files and include a numerical prefix for the order, but it's too late for most of my songs, and it would take a lot of time to change it. It's strange because in MusicMatch 7 there is an area to enter the track position when editing the tag, but I can't figure out how to make the program follow this order when playing an album. Sometimes I don't care that much, but for example if I'm listening to a classical piano concerto (yes - I sometimes do listen to classical ) the track order is very important. You wouldn't want to listen to the finale before the overture!

Anyway, I hope this made any sense. Thanks!

Hugh
