I've been using Voodoo 2's for a long time and a few things come to mind. First I'd recommend using Win9x OS.
Then I would only use Athlon compatible drivers for the V2. Get them at http://tempest.xcl-clan.com/Voodoo2_Athlon.php3
Lastly, check in the device manager properties for the V2 and under resources look at the memory range and make sure there are no conflicts. It may also be a good idea to adjust the memory range 2 or 3 numbers away from the nearest device. Good luck.
