I haven't benched it yet, and I really don't have a baseline for comparison. But the gameplay is as smooth as I want it - except for the %@#!@# laggy Charter Pipeline connection that just died on me last night and still isn't back up.

I've actually been spending most of my time playing with the Linux box. Now that it has sound, it's not half bad. One thing that is strange, the KDE sounds stop working after the machine sits for awhile, like after the screensaver kicks on or something (not sure yet). Games, MP3, CDPlayer all still work fine, but I lose all the sound effects in KDE. Not a biggy though.
