Its not an us and them thing, its a question of fair play IMHO. Like Ben said I am willing to pay for the software but software is not hardware and I dont need one copy per machine, that is simply unjust. The profit margin on software (MS-OSs and games) is in these cases we are discussing "quite" big.
But I am not going to drag anyone into the discussion unwillingly, you are free to go
