RationalRose is a (huge) tool to develop programs. But you don't write any code - you just describe the programs behaviour (by drawing boxes and traces) and Rose writes the code for you.

So... comparing Rose and MSDstudio is like comparing apples and oranges.

I think there is a demo version to download
