I was downloading a big game demo that took about 11 hours to dl on my 33.6 modem
(modem would only connect at 28.8, though, due to line conditions, I suppose)
and had my connection drop when the dl was around 90% or more done. Argggh!
In fact, it took me several tries to get the whole dl without my connection dropping
before it was done. 3 or 4 days of trying before I finally got it to dl intact.
Now that I have cable, this isn't a problem any more.
