Are you telling me I can't do something that I have already done? I guess I should have mentioned that I had done a clean install of Win2k several times. Not that I have done it in a long time, but when I did change it from an ACPI PC to a Standard PC (after OS was installed) it let the IRQ's go where they were assigned in the bios. Now I just modify the txtsetup.sif

The cards were in the right slots. On boot up everything was were it was supposed to be, then Win2k moved everything around to IRQ 9. Like I said, my PC used to lock up often during games. My PC is rock solid now.
