Having a minor problem with your MS solution? OK, just redo your entire IT infrastructure to use Linux because it's free, that'll be so much easier. Keep it simple, stupid!

But, on this topic, it looks like they're finally getting around to adding support for Stored Procedures and Triggers to the next release of MySQL, so maybe someday soon it will actually be a realistic alternative to MS SQLServer.
