Ludi is right every ATX MoBo I have has the battery ASUS & ABit.
Also I kill all the power to the PSU's on 2 of the 3 celerons, was 3 till just lately using one for internet now they are 300A@450 MHz & the battery keeps the time for me. My AMD's stay on to crunch RC5 code but they all have batteries. You did do a fine job of crossing the info you had to come up with that anwser.
