Your right about that. I could move the SB Live to PCI 2 on this machine. Think it's in 4, because I had a PCI V3 before this Radeon AGP card and I never put a sound card under a video card. 4 got it seperated in WIN98. And it's running quite nicely on here and not going to mess with it. Most stable this machine has ever been.
My husband's OTHO is going to take some time. AMD 751/756 chipset board. XP has it running as a Standard PC. Agggh while I thought that would be better, the machine runs like crap! But that's the way XP Installed on it. Have to see if there is a Mini Port Driver for AMD chipsets. Don't seem to have one on there and I remember them discussing this problem on TweakXP forum.
