Usually, most motherboard have AGP and PCI#1 sharing, then it gets a little different from there depending on the number of slots and the MFG. So for every rig I build, standard config is AGP=Vid, PCI#1=Empty, PCI#2=Sound. That way nothing shares with the vid and sound, then I don't give a rip about the other devices cause they can handle sharing and aren't used as heavily.
So swapping devices that are sharing (as in move device A from slot A to B and then move device B from Slot B to A) will have no noticeable affect in the IRQ sharing dept. It's all about the IRQ Assignment table.
