Hey guys, I was wondering what the latest word is on good DDR ram for OC'ing.
I'm thinking of adding some extra memory to my system before prices go up
by any significant amount. The question is what brand to get. I have an FIC AD-11
MB, so FSB OC'ing only goes to 150 (which I have yet to achieve, north or southbridge
must be getting hot, extra case fans might fix that). So I need some
memory that will run at CAS latency 2 up to 150 MHz. I'm running Win98 SE
and was thinking of putting in the full 768 meg ram (about max that runs
stable according to MS), but with only two memory slots, that means using one
512 meg DIMM and one 256 meg DIMM. And it's my understanding that having
different size DIMM's can lessen OC'ing ability for the memory. Is there a
brand out there that will still OC to 150 at CAS 2 stably with a 512 and 256 meg DIMM?
Or would I have to keep it down to 512 meg total with two 256 meg matched DIMM's?

Any recommendations on where to get a good price on the memory (and a place
that also has good customer service that doesn't hassle you if the memory is
defective and needs returned)?

Thanks for any info.
