Just today at work I was fiddling with a Socket 3 HP Vectra system that was originally a 486 33 MHz (now 66 MHz). The current chip was actually a 486 50 MHz, but I tweaked the bus and put an active cooler on it.

I'm replacing it with a Socket 5 P75 Vectra (bare heatsink, no thermal grease) that I set to run at 90 MHz. I ordered some RAM for it, so if it hasn't gone flaky by the time the SIMMs arrive I'm going to go "all the way" to 100 MHz. Might bump the Vcore and put a hs/fan unit on it just to be safe.
