Just wont run at 266!!

ok...this is my setup:
asus a7a266
Athlon 1.4(266fsb)
Maxtor 30gig(ata100)
Gefoece 3 ti500
snd blstr live 5.1

Whenever i try to run it at 1.4 266 it will run for about 2 minutes then lock up...i can set it to 250fsb and 1.560 MHz and it runs fine...whats the problem?
