in XP you can change the boot sequence (XP or ME) and also set the display times for the choices.

Just set XP to be the first boot, set the timer to 0, then it will boot straight to XP, skipping that annoying stopp for choices, that way you can change it back to get to ME if you have to later.

good luck, i spose now you will be asking how do i do this?

I will keep my eye open in case you need help finding the right spot to do the deed.
