uh, pencil instead of screwdriver, use end with eraser attched to it, duh. no more 'mistakes'.

Ditto on the Swiftech, slick and very easy to attache without problems.

Frankly, in all the years I have been doing this, I have never had a problem with the hundreds of heatsinks I have handled, with the exception of one, it only takes one to bring any sensible person to reflect on the proper attachment.

if you are not sure, then take the damn board out of the box, attach the heatsink properly and doublecheck it, then reinstall the M/B back in da box.

for anyone with any kind of box skills, this whole operation should take no more than 20/25 minutes, of course, i have enormous towers, so taking the M/B in and out is quite easy.

you gotta do this for the MC462's and the newer 8045 from Alpha anyway.

just some thoughts.
