Go to the "Drive Cleanup" choose the "Other" tab, and you should see "Remove Uninstall Information" towards the bottom. This should remove the other OS, but you won't be able to get back to it.

It may not work with a dual booted machine though, so if any else has better information, please come forward. My installation just upgraded my 98SE install, and didn't even give me the option of dual boot.
