There is a way to test if your P/S is giving out,
by adding a second P/S to help your main P/S.

If you have an old P/S laying around you can use
it to power all the drives HD's, floppy, CD Rom, zip, ect..,
then you can also power all the fans not plugged into the mobo also.

This test should anwser your question for sure if you have not damaged that PSU. But leaving the case open for this test might also fix an over heating problem, always check to make sure all fans are working & that they are not filled with dust the heat sinks under them.
