I recently upgraded my Duron 700 to Athlon XP1600+

Motherboard: Asus A7V133 (avu1007, updated BIOS)
Case/PSU: AOpen 250W

I previously ran Windows XP but that was subjected to too many BSODs with a range of error messages. I formatted the computer and I am running Windows 2000 now... I still get BSODs every now and then, but I (think I) seem to get fewer messages if I set the CPU voltage to 1.85V in BIOS.

I am running several peripherals...

2x 20GB IDE 7200rpm (RAID-0)
1x IDE Asus 50x
1x SCSI burner
1x SCSI PCI card
2x PCI NICs
1x SBLive! Value PCI
1x Asus V6800 AGP

Could it be the PSU that is lacking the power for the setup ?
I just don't want to buy another PSU and find that these error messages still happen.

Final question: Can a weak PSU (AOpen 250W) cause BSODs?

Thanks in advance.
