The days of when cpu central was about hardware, building a better comp, learning what other's did and then trying to outdo their accomplishments.

And there was WindWalker.
I liked that chap very much.
Wasn't he the person who hosted the "hardware pc blue book?"

I want this site to return to those ideals.
I honestly do becuase the current state of affairs on this bbs are to put it plainly, pitiful.

An excellent case example for the ideal which I speak of is hard ocp. Granted not my favorite site, but their bbs maintains the spirit and tradition of building a better comp to knock the other guy out. If I may put it that way ?

This was once a diverse, all inclusive bbs computer site where everyone from the novice to the sopheeeeestikated expert could come to share ideas.
