Unsatisfactory though it is I have forced IRQ sharing by reserving both 5 & 9 in the bios.

Unsatisfactory because I thought Asus crafted their latest bios for the CUSL2 v.1009 so that IRQ5 was reserved for the SBLive! as it has been so awkward. Now 5 only runs the SB16 emulator.

Cant change IRQ settings in WinME on the SBLive either and there are still 7 other devices (all bus, IRQ or hub related) on IRQ 9 with the SBLive.

It is inevitable that when two such nightmarish monsters as SBLive! and WinME meet there will be a mighty fight, like Godzilla and KingKong, the real losers are the humble city dwellers who are trampled under foot.
