My first question is how long do you plan on keeping the system ?
& are you still a real gamer ? (asked cause the VooDoo 2 was a great card in its day)

Cause next year we should start seeing games that will only be playable thru direct x 8.0 or higher. So would require a a NVidia GeForce 3 or higher, or an ATI Radeon 8500 or higher.
You will not get any real speed increase from these video cards but you get the idea & these newer games may also need more HP then your CPU has but could be used in a newer system
later. G4 is the standard right now DX 8.0 & I would say the new Radeon is doing good but ATI is very slow on driver updates, thou they claim they are fixing that.

Last time I got a card was a G4 2 GTS PRO & was cheap
Now I am getting a Radeon 8500 for the Dual monitors & the good picture & price (thru Ebay).

Try OEM video cards thru pricewatch.com for great prices.

Bob
