The city I live in has their own Cable/Internet operation, so they gave Charter a run for the money. Charter dropped prices, and started treating people like IT GAVE A SHIT.

Unfortunately, there is no option for DSL here yet. And the city won't drop a line to my house until next year. So even though it would seem like there are alternatives, they don't apply to everyone.
