Today I proudly purchased my copy of XP, but lo and behold, when I ran the compatibility check, half my hardware "may not work", and most of my favourite software packages will not work at all. As someone who has bought and paid for every Microsoft operating system right back to early DOS, it would be an understatement to say "I am PISSED". Question, how safe am I installing XP and then trying to get the proper software drivers????
