My current system sports a Pentium III 600 on some standard mobo. I'm going to buy a K7VTA DDR Socket A mobo and an AMD XP 1600+ 1.4 GHz processor. Will I come across any problems? Do I have to re-install Windows 98se? A friend told me that I should upgrade to Windows XP because it supports those processor speeds a lot better... Is this true? Thanks in advance.
