Booting off CD dosnt work - although its an option in the BIOS (HP Omnibook 3000)

NT is on system now (service pack 5)

tried burning a boot disk to a CD and trying that, but no go...just goes into NT

tried an HP recivery CD to see if it would work... booted off CD but not the right model - no files out of the ordinary there...

runing out of ideas.
