First, "pagefile.sys" is Windows NT's swap file. It's legitimate and should not be deleted. If you do manage to delete it, WinNT will, of course, re-create it.

Second, can you ctrl-alt-del your way through the errors? Maybe run the drive as a secondary on a stand-alone NT system WITH an up-to-date virus checker?
