Mobo Recommendation

Been out of the mobo scene for sometime now so I'm way lost. Here is what I'd like to do.

SMASH MY KT7-RAID INTO THE GROUND WITH A HUGE HAMMER! THEN BURN IT! This has got to be the biggest POS I've ever had.

With two different brands of HDs and clean formats, CONSTANT hard lockups upon bootup (fresh formats & fdisks), upped CPU voltage, decreased clock speed, only video card installed, bios upgrades, etc, etc.

Anyhow, I'd like to get a new STABLE mobo that can take my Duron 650 (pencilled to 950) and use that till I get a better CPU (T-bird of somesort). I wouldn't mind buying DDR ram at all unless it looks like 2400s are becoming mainstream soon.

Suggestions?
