Re: XP not recognizing new Lite-on cd writer correctly

I assume the cable isn't the problem since the lite-on works fine with EZ cd creator but I will give it a try. May have to wait until next week since we will be packing tonight for the thanksgiving trip. The lite-on is the master and only drive on the ide channel. I have 4 harddrives hooked up to the motherboard ide controller and the lite-on is on a promise 66 controller and is the only drive, no dvd drive. My cdrom is a scsi plextor.
