Here in Townsville (tropics) overnight minimums are hitting the 80oF and 90% humidity. The rains are starting and the aircon is begining to get a work over....not good conditions for unslealed peltiers....hehehe
This weather will last for 4 months - or about the end of March.
Down in Sydney they are lucky to get any of that 4 weeks a year, so that will be a nice change - might be too cold for us...;>) Funny thing is down there they get a couple of 106oF days when the westerly wind comes off the centre of Australia...we dont get any of that here - just a sulty stable and almost monotonous 80-92oF daily range....
I will miss the fantasitic tropical storms each night though - you know the kind....6" of rain in half an hour and that's it!!!....stary nights from then on and hot sweltering days...then at 6:00PM down she comes with another half hour of torent and fine again....very predictable and very convenient - you can plan your life around it.
Of course the other 8 months of the year the weather is a perfect dry 78 each and every day ...every day....every day....for 8 months without any rain!!!! That too can get a little monotonous 'cause you start to want a rainy day where you can find an excuse to stay inside curl up with a book (or loved one - whatever your fancy) without feeling guilty!!!.
Sydney is a real mish mass of weather and very unpredictable with wild swings from one to the other.
Yes - I will certainly miss the weather up here...
And my Jeep probably wont get as many topless outings either....
