Very interesting.... Let me get this straight. If you set Win98 to think of
your system as a "Network Server", then you can run at least 768 meg of ram
with no worries about any kind of stability problems or speed hits related
to having more than 512 meg of ram (which might otherwise occur)? Is this setting
important only when running more than 512 meg or even if your are using exactly
512 meg with Win98?

If that's the case, then the next question is, where do I go in Win98
(I'm using SE) to set the system to "Network Server"?

Also, are there any negative performance or other affects to setting the system
to "Network Server"? Is there any reason why everyone running Win98 shouldn't
set the OS to "Network Server"? Would turning this setting on make the
system any less secure when connected up to a cable modem (I doubt it, but
it doesn't hurt to ask)?
