version 1 involved a simple objective to control a would-be plumber figure in red overalls up a steal platform hopping over barrels which were released by a large ape figure who held the plumber's girlfriend. the objective was to reac the ape before dying thus releasing your girlfriend.
version two involved a japaneese imported game converted to u.s. it was widely popular.
this version involved the first game's plumer. his brother and 2 other friends in attempt to save a magical kingdom in peril from a dubious gigantic frog who once again, controled a conveyer belt.
version three concluded the series. this edition offered adbanced graphics, a furry suit with fly capabilities, and over-land map with multiple, but preset number of destinations, and large turtle/dragon hybrid creature.
