PC 100 runs at 64 bit (=8 Bytes / bus cycle) bandwidth. That means that at 100 MHz you get 8 x 100 MB/sec bandwidth. At 133 MHz you get 8 x 133 MB/sec which is 1066 MB/sec. If you are using DDR at 133 MHz clock / 266 MHz data rate, you get 2100 MB/sec, ergo PC2100. |
