I formatted ME back out, put 98se back in.
Same dang blasted thing - modem, but no sound!

Reread info that came with modem.
When I bought it, I followed instructions to the letter, including remove old modem from system, shut down, unplug old modem, boot up, install drivers, shut down, install new modem, reboot, continue.
It worked then. Guess winders just don't like it on the install. Maybe if I remove it and install winders...........
Nah! I'm gonna try WinXP Pro!
