Never installed RAID before...

..and the way it looks i may not if i dont get some help. I own a abit VP6 with the highpoint 370 RAID controller and im trying to install two wd 20 gig hdd. I can get through the setup of the RAID but when i try to install windows 98se (im going to uprade 98 to 2000 after i get the RAID working since i only have the upgrade version of 2000 and if im not mistaken RAID will delete everything i have if i install 98 then 2000 before i setup the RAID array) after fdisking a nd creating a partition i cant get the boot disk to show up again so i can format then install 98. What i get instead is a message that says missing operating system. DUH! So what do i do? HOpe you RAID gurus can help!! Also i have a Abit KG7-RAID and im wondering if the RAID setup will be similar since i will be building this setup in the next couple of days. If not, what will i need to know?
