I just soak the entire top of the CPU with the Pro Handcleaner, use a Qtip to get off the big chunks and then an old toothbrush for e.g. the AS residues around the caps and resistors. When everything is clean, I just rinse it off under the faucet. Done it about 10 times on one CPU and it comes out like new except for the chipped edges of the core. Still runs like a charm, though. |
