Just picked up another family computer "fix it please" project. Haven't opened it up yet, but thought I'd get your opinions before doing so.
It's a Acer Pentium tower (LPX board) and when they start up the system up each day it goes through all the bells and whistles and boots in Win98. Problem is nothing is on the screen. I can hear windows doing it's desktop sounds but no screen. Shut it down and restart- everything comes up fine. I've tried swithcing just the monitor power(fairly new) and nothing so it must be in the tower. It does have a PCI video card and a intergrated video card. So my thought is that it's in there somewhere. Either a conflict or a faulty card. Any suggestions?
