The thermal paste is already there, but I personally think that you are right. It is probably the heatsink not working well enough for this CPU. I have a PAL-6035 (Delta fan) from my last board, however that thing screams like a jet engine. OTOH, I am not completely sure if this HS will do any better. If not, what will?

BTW, I was going through the rituals of several benchmarks last night. The box was closed and it did not quiver or freeze. That is impressive at that temperature, at least to me.
