Could be a couple of things as I don't think that Lite-On has Burn-Proof technology...
Try putting it on a different config (IDE w/ HD not CDROM) and/or Mastering it on it's own channel...or it could be that you are running other programs while trying to burn. Another thing is you may need to upgrade as some of the Burners may need a higher rating CPU so check the min req....or it could be Heat.
