I will only vacuum out the bottom of a tower case & by all means touch the case with your other
hand so the air rush static energy building up in you will not zap anything. As a smoker & computers being in basement where the laundry is I needed & easy, safe & to clean my fans.

I have cleaned CPU fans in a desktop with a regular vacuum & brush attachment but I was also grounded with no problems. I have even had to remove the fans to clean the fan & H/S better.
