I am using Windows Me and I have two hard drives one is set as the master and the other is set as the slave. The slave drive is twice the size as the master, I tryed installing games and my backups files to this Drive when I do and I reboot some of my files have a ~ at the end as Plexto~1 Logetec~1 and etc etc. and when I try to open the files I get error message. Like the files are corrupt, The file was not complied for a CPU that is compatible with this version of Windows and in the back ground there's is a message Windows cannot acccess the specified device, path or file, you do not have appropriate permission to access this item. Drive C:\ works ok, checked for viruses none there. Just can't understand it. Using AMD CPU 1.4 Asus motherboard, crucial memory. Thanks for any help. |
