Well, I underclocked it to 1050 and everything seems OK. According to the BIOS, temp is 49C which is 10C lower than it was at 1400. No gaming tonight. Just watch some Nova and Frontline. Hopefully tomorrow will bring my new orb cooler and shim and we can get back to full speed.

Oh, and the hard crashes from the high temp did do some damage. My registry had one messed up entry. I deleted it and everything is OK.

BTW, what do you think of that 8meg cache WD hard drive? I'm thinking of getting that for my server. I also plan on getting a PVR card like the WinTV PVR or the Nvidia Personal Cinema so I can store my favorite TV shows on the computer instead of my annoying VCR.
