You got the first part right after I get the two beeps I should get a curser in the upper righthand
conner but because the partition is missing & no
bios setup program & some ? bios settings & diagnostics I do not get the curser @ all & the f10 key fails every time.
But I do have a battery & the chance to add an external one also if the first one gives out.
The battery must mainly be used to keep the timer clock going for the time of day.
My only problems now is waiting for the compaq to let me down load the programs & how to set up the
HD, the non dos would be the first or second partition ?
